What did I learn and share with others from the first 16 chapters of Genesis?

God created day and night land and water, animalsl, plants and trees within the first 7 days. Then God went out to create man in His own image. God made Adam a companion since all the animals had companions. Her name was Eve. She was deceived by a serpent whom led her to get Adam to eat from that tree as well. She liistened to Satan who told her that surely she would not die if she ate from the tree. They both ate from the tree and now had the ability to see between good and evil.
God's covenant to man was symbolized by a rainbow this was because noah sacrificed animals.
