Continuing through Psalms is such a joy, the words he uses to praise the Lord are so amazing. Frequently the psalmist is crying out to the Lord to save him from its enemies and then other times he is singing songs of praise to the Lord. There's so many different versus and ways he praises the Lord for being his rock his strong tower defender, wings, his light, his source of delight and the Lord of heaven's armies.

It's so exciting to see how Job responded to the difficult things the Lord allowed Satan to do to him. We are victorious through our Lord and Job continued to argue against being persecuted because of sin. It's so neat how Job does praise the Lord and how the Lord returns all of his children and his wealth. But you know without a doubt that the important thing to Job is to walk worthy of the Lord in all of his actions and heart motives.
These Psalms were such a joy to read. Some Psalms to praise the Lord and so Psalms are cries out for God's help as he runs from King Saul and his enemie

Job continues to talk with his so called friends. It does kind of make you wonder how your friends might approach you if you are in a similar circumstances. Maybe it's best just to Praise the Lord that we won't have to be in such circumstance.

With friends like Jobes who needs enemies! Job seems to have three so-called friends that definitely don't have his best interest in mind. They are an example of what kind of friends we all don't want, especially if were in the position of Job.

The story of Esther is such a beautiful story of how God uses everything in our lives to glorifying Him. Esther was there at just the perfect time to save her people, the Jews.
The story of Job is just in the early stages. Satan talks with God because he believes that Job would not praise the Lord if the Lord had not prosper Job. The Lord allows Satan to take away all that he had, Job continues to praise the Lord then Satan says that Job will not praise him if he suffers illness. The Lord allows Satan to take his health. This story continues from there!

Nehemiah fills the call from the Lord to go to Jerusalem to help the exiles that were able to return from Babylonian to repair their badly burned Jerusalem Wall. Nehemiah request permission from his King to go, his King(because God had impressed the King to allow Nehemiah to go) was very generous and wrote letters for other kings to allow him go to Jerusalem. He sent helpers and materials with Nehemiah. When Nehemiah got down there many of the other exiles began to help rebuild the wall. It was completed in 52 days by the help of God despite much opposition from the rulers all around that area.

Reading ahead King's come and go only those that do right in the eyes of the Lord are successful and God is faithful to keep his promise made to David about Israel. Many King's who choose evil come to a devastating end. It seems to me the Kings could see that the successful kings reign in accordance with the law of Moses and therefore choose what is right but selfishness and pride lead to their demise.

These chapters are the story of David as he becomes king. It begins when King Saul kills himself along with three sons die. As King David is quite a man of battle. God allows him to conquer the land of Canaan and take control killing many other Kings making Israel the most powerful nation at that time in history. King David has a huge army of crafted warriors, very very skilled with the sword, slings shot, skilled archers and good leaders. As David grows older he desire to build a beautiful temple to hold the Ark of the Covenant and show the Lord his love and devotion. The Lord does not allow him to build a temple but allows his son Solomon to build quiet an extravagant temple.

Kings come and go but only those that follow God are able to do well and succeed. I use Dragon speaking because on quadriplegic and the journal entries are hard for me to do because they don't seem to like my speaking. But I do what I can, Praise the Lord.
