Nehemiah fills the call from the Lord to go to Jerusalem to help the exiles that were able to return from Babylonian to repair their badly burned Jerusalem Wall. Nehemiah request permission from his King to go, his King(because God had impressed the King to allow Nehemiah to go) was very generous and wrote letters for other kings to allow him go to Jerusalem. He sent helpers and materials with Nehemiah. When Nehemiah got down there many of the other exiles began to help rebuild the wall. It was completed in 52 days by the help of God despite much opposition from the rulers all around that area. With Nehemiah's help not only was he wall repaired but they also set up government and rules to abide by Moses rules that God had given the people. They asked for forgiveness and desired to follow God's plan. They knew that by following God's plan they would succeed.

Regina Merrick, it is such a joy to be reading God's Word. Somehow I fail to understand the book of Nehemiah 1 I read it previously. It all made sense as I read it this time. I'm so excited
